In a strategic move to reach out to millions of Chinese globally, the container shipping industry launched a Chinese language version of its Container Shipping Information Service (CSIS) website at www.shipsandboxes.com/schi. The launch of the site heralds a major drive by the industry to further boost its consumer outreach, and follows hot on the heels of the launch of CSIS in January.

Through the web site, and other activities done by CSIS, the industry aims to promote itself and change the perception people normally have about Container Shipping Industry, showing the vital role that it plays in the daily life that people enjoy in the modern world.
